True enough, but I recall a recent thread on the proper use of the term
"Gentlemen" which offered "Friend" as a pleasant, gender-neutral
alternative.  Perhaps this is only an issue to us over-sensitive Americans.

Anyway, the best way to deal with unwanted solicitations is to calmly hang
up.  Or, in these electronic days, hit CTRL-Del.
