British Association of Friends of Museums (BAFM), an umbrella organisation
for groups of Friends and volunteers, is holding its annual meeting on
Saturday 12 October 1996 at Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. The theme will be
'Refreshing Your Membership' and speakers will include a variety of
members of Friends' groups plus Anthea Case, Director National Heritage
Memorial Fund, Timothy Mason, Director Museums & Galleries Commission, and
Loyd Grossman, Chairman Campaign for Museums. There will be a bookstall of
useful publications, tours of the gardens and glasshouses with volunteer
guides and BAFM's AGM.

Full day including lunch and refreshments costs #25 (pounds UK!). Booking
