Quite a few children's museums have extensive collections, even if they
are not extensively exhibited to the public.  They are being preserved
and studied.

If we stress that definition in order to take issue with the Creation 
Museum, then we are going to have to throw out a lot of Children's 
Museums as well.  I usually find myself wondering why Children's Museums

ARE "museums," and the lack of collections is my sticking point.
