Good morning all,

I have been asked by our search committee to help them post the job ad
for executive director for our museum. If you would not mind I would like
to and if you would pass it along to anyone who might be interested. I
would be grateful.

Thank you,
Henry Poore

director to oversee and expand the organization’s programming and

drive in the next year. The current budget is approximately
$250,000/year, and the Board seeks to grow the organization and budget.
The Executive Director reports to and works closely with the Museum’s
Board of Directors, interacting on a regular basis with the President and
various standing and ad hoc committees. S/he will take a proactive role
in all aspects of the Museum’s fundraising efforts, including launching
the capital campaign within the next year.
The Executive Director must establish and maintain productive
relationships outside the Museum and be its key spokesperson and advocate
within the immediate community and throughout the region (including
professional, governmental, civic and private entities).
Situated in the Piedmont region of NC, Iredell Museums is located in
Statesville, approximately 45 minutes from Charlotte and Winston-Salem.
