The theme of the current (Oct. 1993, vol. 17, no. 3) issue
of the journal Museum Anthropology is Museums and Tourism.
Some of the articles are "Lincoln's New Salem as a Contested
Site," "Colonialist Anthropology at Colonial Williamsburg,"
and "Wonder and Worth: Disney Museums in World Showcase."
Museum Anthropology is published three times a year by the
Council of Museum Anthropology, a unit of the American
Anthropological Association, 4350 North Fairfax Drive, Suite
640, Arlington, VA 22203.

Another worthwhile journal that discusses issues relevant to
museum-l members is Curator, published quarterly by the
American Museum of Natural History, Central Park West at
79th Street, New York, NY 10024. It is of interest to more
than just people in Natural History Museums.

I thought I would mention these journals on the list since
I was surprised recently to meet a museum person who had
no acquaintance with either of them.
