Dear all,

A "trial version" of the Cultural Heritage Online was
put on a website on April 27 by the Japanese
government. This is an outgrowth of its nationwide
digitization project currently underway in over thirty
cultural institutions in Japan. Although it is
provisional and not translated into English, you can
give it a try. I bet an English version will be
coming out soon. If you need assistance in navigation
or have a question, send me an email off list.
