Scholarships Now Available!  

ONE-DAY WORKSHOPS ON AUDIOVISUAL PRESERVATION AND DIGITAL PRESERVATION

ABOUT THE WORKSHOPS:   Funded by a grant from NEH, these two workshops held on consecutive days in different locations around the country provide the foundation needed for participants from smaller institutions to become effective collection stewards. Registration fee: $40 per one-day workshop. You may attend one or both workshops.  

NEWS!   Multiple scholarships for the Oklahoma workshop registration fees are now available. Provided for Oklahoma participants by the Oklahoma Historical Records Advisory Board through funding by the National Historical Publications and Records Commission (NHPRC).  A few travel assistance scholarships of up to $100 are still available from NEDCC as well.

NEW! Scholarships Now Available for 

DIGITAL DIRECTIONS: Fundamentals of Creating and Managing Digital Collections, Aug 19-20, Overland Park, KS    

STUDENTS - A scholarship for student registration for Digital Directions is now available. Sponsored by Emporia State University School of Library and Information Management (SLIM.) This scholarship is open to students from all colleges and universities and is not limited to Emporia students. The scholarship covers the Digital Directions student registration fee of $300. Selection of the scholarship winner will be primarily based on financial need and your reason for wishing to attend. 

KANSAS RESIDENTS - Kansas residents who work in a public records repository or archives are eligible to apply for a scholarship through the Kansas Historical Records Advisory Board (KSHRAB) Scholarship Program. Scholarships of up to $500 will be awarded to attend a conference/meeting for archival training, including NEDCC's Digital Directions conference in Overland Park.
