I work for the education department of a medium-sized art museum. We are
in the process of starting an outreach program. It entails docents taking
photographic reproductions of works in our collection to area schools and
discussing art-related topics with the students. It does not necessarily
precede or succeed a visit to the Museum. I was wondering if anyone has
any pointers for getting a program like this off the ground and running. I
would appreciate any comments on pre and post visit activities as well as
the maintenance of such a program.
