Good Morning All

Back in August of 2010, I asked the first question (listed below), and I received several very useful responses.  Well, now it is four years later and I asking the same first question...and, this time with new second and third questions.

   QUESTION #1    Does anyone have figures (dollar amounts) that you would be willing to share, as to how much of your annual development fund that is ear-marked for the annual operational budget fund comes from your Board of Trustees? By way of clarity, the amount we are looking for consists of direct gifts from either the Trustee (personal giving) plus any funding from their corporations or foundations which is directly attributable to that board member.  Back in 2010, I received information that some museum Board of Trustees set the Board's (as a group) annual giving to be 10% of the total projected goal of the museum's annual giving campaign.

  QUESTION #2     Does your Board of Trustees have a minimum dollar amount for each BOT member's personal donation to the museum's annual giving campaign for the annual operational budget?

  QUESTION #3     Does your Board of Trustees have a minimum dollar amount for each BOT member's personal donation to the museum's Capital Campaign for a major capital improvement project?

   All responses will be held in strict confidence.
