Regarding Susan Wegmann's proposal for a 1999 AAM session dealing with
collaborative grants planning, I have to say that from a funder's point of
view, this is a GREAT IDEA!!! It's amazingly easy to spot a proposal where
development did all the thinking/writing and program folks were not involved
and vice versa. Once funded, you can see how this kind of proposal never quite
coalesces into an effective program.
