Let me address your beliefs Arry! Goodmorning ! Just happened to see
this cruising through my mail.
We did not demolish any buildings but there are some we store artifacts
in that should have been long ago.We have talked about the big move from
the OB Old Building abve the State Archives for some time now -for 4
years since I became the Objects Conservator.
To expedite the move in a secure fashion my plan was to get American
Airlines to donate a crew and the donkey tractors with baggage carts
running relays across the street instead of packing moving vans just to
go kitty corner one block. For them I envisioned an ad in their airline
flight magazine whose headline read "Moving people,Moving History" .So
far wev'e been all wrapped up in promised exhibits and just now we are
installing the mezanine hardward in out new 30 mil bldg in preparation
for said move. You may share this with others on the list as long as I
get the credit and an airline ticket to NZ to flyfish for their
exceptional Brown trout!
Ciao!
