Hello Listers--


I am interested in hearing from institutions who have charged "extra" admission
fees for special exhibitions.  I am especially curious about University Museums
and Galleries.  Were the on and off-campus communities understanding
about/amenable to the extra charges?  Did it affect visitor rates, and did it
significantly increase (or decrease) revenue?

Thanks for any info--anecdotes welcome!
