We have a Cape Cod lighter in our collections (cataloged in the 70s
as a small pot and a ladle, different numbers) that I am trying to
fit into a Nomenclature category. Does anyone know about fireplace
lighters like this outside of the New England area? Is there a different,
more generic name for these kinds of things? Is it something we should
keep in a collection for eastern Pennsylvania? I'm the only one on our
staff who even recognized it for what it is -- I grew up with one (New
England transplants to Virginia) -- so I wonder how widespread they were.

Thanks!
