Jennifer,

Completely coincidentally, our Patisserie students have just completed their
final buffet presentation and we used one of their gingerbread houses/towns
as an ecard. Have a look at this direct URL
http://www.aut.ac.nz/my_aut/ecard/index.shtml to see what I mean

best wishes
Roger

Subject: gingerbread

> I am interested in possibly doing a gingerbread house competition with
children, adults and maybe local bakers for a program this fall. I would be
interested to hear other people's experience with this type of program.
Specifically, my questions are: 1) How did you display the houses, how did
you protect them from pest, visitors, time, etc. 2) Did you pay bakers or
were they willing to do make gingerbread houses in return for publicity 3)
Was it a difficult program to coordinate, manage? and finally, 4) Do you
have any tips for starting this type of program?
