Kristen,

I can answer just one of your questions.  The traps are called Gluee Louee
economy mouse and insect glue traps (150MBGL).  They are from a company
called Atlantic Paste and Glue in Brooklyn NY.  They are on the web.  Your
institution will have to buy through a local representative but the traps
go for about $35.00 for a box with about 150 to the box.
For the rest of you questions you may want to talk to Dr. Thomas Parker of
Pest Control, Inc.  610-284-6249.  His specialty is bug control in museums,
archives, historic sites, etc.
