Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, "laid off" 18 senior curators and heads of
departments in reorganization, including Jonathan Fairbanks, dept. of
American Decorative Arts and 28 year veteran at the museum, and my friend
Lelia Amalfitano, gallery director and visiting artists program at the School
of the MFA..

I have no time to write this morning--well, hardly any. Try to find the
article by Christine Temin in the June 29 Boston Globe page E3.

Friday they announced the layoffs, and CONFISCATED THEIR BADGES AND KEYS.

Gotta go.
