for more fun, i'd like to throw in the following website for more pop
culture references:

http://personal1.stthomas.edu/cdeliason/ahgttm.htm

the art historians' guide to the movies
whenever art has appeared in a movie (of any budget) fans post it on this
site. with topics for art from all periods - ancient and medieval through
modern and contemporary, architecture and non-western arts included.
it's not about museums per se but surely shows how and how often art is used
in the movies...
check it out! great fun!
