Director of Education

The Jacksonville Museum of Modern Art opening in May 2003 seeks a Director
of Education to begin January-February 2003. Duties include: Develop and
supervise adult education and docent program, oversee teacher/student
programs including school tours; provide educational leadership, project
management and content for new children’s interactive center, develop
curriculum, supervise studio class program, manage education staff, oversee
community outreach programs, coordinate with curatorial staff, and other
responsibilities associated with education department. Candidate must have
excellent verbal, written, and administrative skills, in addition to
knowledge of art history and studio art techniques. Must have strong
interpersonal skills and be a team player.  M.A. or M.F.A and/or a minimum
