Mr. Morelli,

I do not know if you are looking only within the US, but the KIT in the
Netherlands, in Amsterdam is an institution with several departments, among
which a museum (the ethnographical Tropenmuseum) and a library.

Onderwerp: Municipal public libraries and museums

I am attempting to identify combinations of public libraries at the
municipal or county level and museums in order to investigate their
governance. Thanks to the 23 of you who answered my previous request, There
were many helpful suggestions, but I'm still trying for more.

Libraries with a small gallery aren't what I have in mind, nor are
museums with some library function such as some public access to an art or
history collection, or an archive.

I'm looking for two institutions under one organizational roof --
separate physical roofs are okay. Each of the two should each be of adequate
size and staffing so that they might have the potential to exist separately.
The local level is the key factor.

Thanks
Peter Morelli
