Jillian- I have to agree with Greg. I am an American who received my MA
from the University of Leicester. Before I decided on a program, I
asked many professionals in the US and UK about the various programs.
Leicester was the program with the highest level of recognition from all
those that I contacted. I also did quite a bit of additional research
on the programs before I made my final decision. I have heard that the
Manchester program is excellent for those who are interested in a more
art-focused museum studies degree. Newcastle also has a good
reputation. However, at the end of the day, I wouldn't trade my
Leicester experience for anything. Good luck in your decision.
