Eric: Possibility of advocacy for better wages in museums would be
through the Professional Standing Committees of the AAM. They meet
together at least annually. The AAM itself cannot do this as its
membership includes both individuals and institutions. Would have
potential conflict of interest...taking sides? But the PSC's would
be free to mount an advocacy campaign.       Jane
