Curator of Education. A city of Mobile merit system position through the
Mobile County Personnel Board, The Museum of Mobile seeks an experienced
energetic individual with excellent communication skills, a degree in
museum education or closely related field, preferably supplemented by a
master's degree and three years responsible experience in a musuem
education position. Good computer skills required. Responsibilities will
include development of educational programs, supervision  of education
related staff positions including interns, tour guides and other
volunteers, volunteer recruitment, museum outreach activities, and
planning education components for new 67,000 sq.ft. history museum.
Starting salary, $25,344 plus benefits. Begining August 1, 1999, obtain
