Hello-

I am writing an article for a national parenting magazine about introducing kids to museum and cultural events. They have asked me to include web sites or apps. I know what I would include for my home town of Philly, but I need sites that are more national - this is a little challenging because I am focusing on getting to local venues... If you have any suggestions for websites or apps have a national focus I would appreciate it! I thought AAM website might have some of this, but I couldn't find it. Some things I am looking for:

National list of small local museums(for tractors, dolls, local artist, etc)
Web resource for good tips before you take your kid to the art museum
Artist open studio tours
Website to buy historical costumes for kids
National list of historical house museums
Resource for local cultural events (like Time Out or Gocitykids)

Thanks very much for your help.
