Our museum will soon be upgrading to PastPerfect 4.0 (we currently have 3.5) and we are currently preparing for an almost entire collections move to a new building. I was wondering if anyone, especially from a general history museum, has any experience with bar coding in general and PastPerfect bar coding specifically. We will not have enough time to do bar coding before the move but are interested in its possible use after the move. I would like to hear any opinions on this subject. I know it has been used in science related museums, and I know it has issues for general history museums. I am trying to figure out if the benefits out way the headaches or not. As always we are understaffed and have limited time. Feel free to contact me off list.

Thanks for all your help.
