Apologies to Hank, Burchard - I misunderstood why the curator wanted replica m
medals.  I would still like to know why I think history replicas are so
different, because I thought it was neat when I worked in an art museum that
sold art, and fine when a natural history museum sells specimens, but I hit
a wall with the concept of exhibiting replicas in a historical museum or
selling historical articles through a history museum.  Perhaps this is a
delayed response to the "authenticity" thread.
