Greetings to the list,

I posted this message back in January, but it didn't seem to make it to the
list, so I'm trying again.

I have some questions to ask on behalf of the Acting Director for Curatorial
Affairs at the
Walters Art Museum and hope that some of you may be able to help. Having
recently left a university position working with slides and other visual
resources for a museum position, these questions are of interest to me as
well. You can respond off-list to me and if there is any interest to others
about this topic, I'd be happy to post a summary of responses to the list.

His questions are:
>Does your museum sell slide sets in addition to individual slides?

>How are they marketed?

>Does your museum sell digital images in addition to slides?

>How have web sites affected sales?

>Are orders coming through web listings or from a printed catalogue, and is
the relationship changing?

>Do you know of any museums that have particularly significant sales of
slides and/or digital images?

I thank you in advance for your time.

Sincerely,

Kathleen Adrian
