Re:
Official Internet Site of the Ministry of Tourism, Egypt
http://interoz.com/egypt

We have made an attempt to document all known museums in Egypt,
including not only those dealing with ancient Egypt, but also those
with
modern or contemporary art. We have included many museum that
are not well known. For example, many palaces and early houses which
serve a museum function, as well as those with limited interest, such
as
the Egyptian postal museum.

The Ministry of Tourism of the Arab Republic of Egypt, in conjunction
with
InterCity Oz, Inc. has opened their Official Site on the Internet at
http://interoz.com/egypt. The site covers much more than tourism
though.
It is the most comprehensive Egyptian resource on the Internet, with
over
2,500 pages of information related to everything from practical
tourism tips
to ancient Egyptian religion. Find out how the Pharaohs lived, or
about the
latest entertainment trends in Cairo. Learn to speak Arabic with
audio, or
find out what airlines fly to Alexandria. Coming soon will be a 1,000
page
linked history of Egypt. This is a rich site with meaningful and up
to date
information, as well as beautiful graphics and pictures. Eventually,
it is
expected to have nearly 6,000 pages, including detailed information on
every
city in the country, and comprehensive lifestyle and entertainment
guides
for Cairo, Alexandria and other major tourist locations such as the
Red Sea
and Sinai.

In addition, the site will have some of the best give-a-ways on the
Internet. Contests for trips to Egypt worth many thousands of dollars
will
be awarded each year. These luxury trips will include airfare and
accommodations, as well as tours and other amenities. But that's not
all.
Upcoming sections will cover such topics as "Myths, Mysteries and
Fabrications", exploring controversial topics related to ancient
Egypt, such
as pyramid power and the age and source of the Sphinx. Another new
section
will cover business travel to Egypt, including business customs, a
very
important aspect of doing business in the country. In fact, look for
a
continuous stream of new and interesting subjects about the most
interesting
country on earth.

This is an exciting and well structured site, and a must visit for
anyone
interested in Egypt.
