I wonder sometimes if we worry too much about the Creationist agenda. If
they push it too far, they will end up publicly ridiculed like William
Jennings Bryan was in the Scopes Trial, which someone mentioned earlier.
Sometimes I think these sorts of things play themselves out and kind of
go in cycles, just like our current conservative government that will be
left-leaning again in the near future (perhaps 2008?). Of course none of
this helps the Smithsonian zoologist get his job back on track.
