Dear Jennifer:
This is an interesting position. Is it the kind of thing can be filled at a
distance-i.e., from Washington, DC? Is it necessarily full time?

You may remember that we've met from time to time (conference to conference,
actually) over the last couple of years. My background seems ideal for this,
but I've got another major project under development and would be curious to
know what you need in terms of time commitment.

Best regards,
Michael
