as we've moved thru the 1st 4 months of operations, one of the few surprises
has been the number of pre-schoolers that come on the weekend to take
advantage of our hands-on art actitivies. most of our actitivies,
facilitated by local artists, are geared for older children. although i've
done a moderate amount of reading about preschoolers and science activities
(my background) can't say the same for art.

looking for both research papers/books that will begin to give me a foothold
in the subject. am looking for more than just actitives - want to
understand some of the current thinking in the field.

thanks in advance.
