Can someone please explain what this new association will do that ICOM
doesn't do? I am not a member of ICOM so I am not trying to argue that we
don't need another association, I am a bit bemused that's all. This new
association seems to have sprung fully formed from someone's head, complete
with name, journal title etc - who has been involved to date? Have there
been meetings of international stakeholders so that it can fairly claim to
be an international association?
