First, let me thank all of those who responded to our Student Association's
request for career info. It is an enormous help. The better informed we are as
we start our careers, the better we can serve the museum community.

I have a whole slew of questions, and anyone is welcome to answer:

1) Some time ago, a newslist for exhibition design and fabrication was
mentioned. Can someone post the listserv address? Some of us are taking a
design course with Ralph Applebaum and are inspired enough to want to know more
about this field. :)

2) Does anyone have a phone # or address for the AAM Committee on Exhibitions
(NAME)? I already am an AAM member, but hope to join NAME if it is possible.

3) I am planning to attend the AAM conference in late April. Is anyone else
going to attend? My main areas of interest are Youth museums, Education,
Interactivity and online issues, and exhibition planning (and, of course,
career development). Are there any must-see events that y'all can reccomend? Is
anyone on the list speaking? Also, I hope to meet some of the museum-l
participants in person. :) I will be attending as a student, not a BCM
delegate. I have family in Seattle, so I decided to take advantage of the
airline fare wars and kill two birds with one stone. :>

4) Back to Exhibition Planning... aside from Ralph Applebaum's well-know firm,
can anyone share their knowledge of other firms that do museum planning
and design? Any help is much appreciated.

Humbly,
