          Mary from Wales, please include your email address in your
          correspondance.
 
           We have used GPS in mountainous
          environments, and most devices come with software for
          downloading into PC's.
 
          There is a fish database developed at Cornell called MUSE.
          Julian Humphreys, I think, was the creator. I don't have an
          email address for him, but MUSE might be useful to you.
 
          In general, as far as your genus/species in the same field
          question, my database experience has taught me to atomize
          atomize atomize.  Put the smallest unit of information
          practicable in a single field.
