Dear Chuck ~

This may not be your problem, but it may the hypothetical director's if the
IRS and state tax boards take interest in the hypothetical arrangement:
Certainly the items have value, so how will your entity report tax on these
things as her earned income? How will she? My guess is that if she is this
devoid of ethics, she has no intent of reporting "the income" as she should.

Too bad you hypothetically have to worry about working around this kind of
bad behavior: I hate to see people getting away with taking advantage of a
situation, but hey!, she's got in in her contract!

I hope your alleged board and director do the right thing to resolve it.
However, it sounds like you may be describing hypothetically spineless
weasels as the people with authority, but you may get their attention with
the risk of having to answer to the IRS.
