You are certainly not the only ones!  Funny how that seems to be the
response that is supposed to evoke some feelings of guilt!

Must be a hold over from the "but all the other kids' moms let them" days!

As one of the other posters said, most people want to know why and then
understand and are happy to comply.  There will always be one....
