I'll second that... The USC Museum Studies Program is run through McKissick
Museum - I received my Museum Studies degree while pursuing my MA in Art
History. Hey, it's where I first learned about grant-writing! The program
partners nicely with both the Art Department and the History / Historic
Preservation Departments.

As long as we're promoting public history programs, let me put in a plug
for the University of South Carolina's! It really is a great program for
museum studies and material culture, cultural resource management,
archives, and historic preservation. --Kathy
