Hi again.
I just wanted to mention a highly regarded resource for those interested in this kind of thing. It is Exhibit Conservation Guidelines : Incorporating Conservation Into Exhibit Planning, Design and Production. It is put out by the National Park Service and lists sources for many products and materials.
It contains some nifty drawings and also addresses other exciting issues like gasketing!
Cheers!

We are looking to fabricate some museum quality exhibit
cases for our front lobby.

Does anyone know what is the best type of wood to use,
sealer, wood for the back, etc.? I heard plywood is out
for backing because of outgasing. I would appreciate your
views. Thanks in advance.
