Every time I've relocated, even for a senior position, the expenses have not
been paid, but I have been able to take a tax deduction for them.  I think
in today's economic climate it's unrealistic to expect them to be paid, even
partially, unless you are being brought in as some kind of executive-level
rainmaker.
