Hello.
Is anyone aware of a mid-sized (4-6 faculty member) Art History M.A. progra=
m (which also offers an undergrad degree) that has a deliberate focus on on=
e or two areas (say, Renaissance and Medieval or modern and contemporary ar=
t), with 3 faculty members teaching the same or overlapping fields? If any=
one knows of such a program, is it successful and are the students happy wi=
th the limited course offerings? Would it advisable to head in such a dire=
ction, say with no regular coverage after the Renaissance or before the Ren=
aissance, leaving out centuries' worth of history? What are the advantages=
/disadvantages?

Thanks,
Theresa Leininger-Miller [log in to unmask]<mailto:theresa.leining=
