The DuPage County Historical Museum in Wheaton, Illinois, seeks a
full-time Curator, job code #6113. Responsibilities include: Oversight of
collections processing, including supervision of part-time curatorial
assistant, volunteers, and serves as Intern Coordinator; participation in
planning process for active changing exhibit program; implementation of
recently installed collection management computer system; and interaction
with general public, donors, and researchers on a regular basis.
Requirements include: Masters Degree in Museum Studies with an emphasis
on collection management and 2 to 3 years museum experience. Computer
experience required and knowledge of Standard Collection software a plus.
Excellent teamwork, verbal and written skills required. Salary range
