Definitely *not* my idea of "harmony"!
I can deal with the fact that these 'positions' exist.  What I cannot deal with
is
the hypocrisy of posting openings that are not, in fact, actually open.  That is
definitely *not* 'playing the game'.  We *all* have better things to do than was
ting
time and (in the case of unemployed grad students) money in chasing down
non-existent leads.
