Greetings from the rolling hills of Kirtland, Ohio! I have enjoyed the list
for years as a long time reader, first time contributor.

We are currently in the midst of designing and new visitor center and our
collections storage area is quickly becoming a top priority.

At your museums and historic sites, and in your professional experiences,
what type of fire protection have you discovered is safest for the artifacts
and the employees working within the storage area? I am curious as to any
information, both challenges and successes regarding fire protection
systems, fire ratings, walls, etc.

Thank you for your time.
I look forward to your thoughts,

Barbara
