+++ Sales Assistant, NYC +++

For our renowned art gallery client we are seeking a Sales Assistant.

The successful candidate will assist a top Sales Executive in all
administrative functions, including travel arrangements and calendar;
detailed client relations; relations with two artists handled
exclusively by the sales executive; assistance at fairs, openings
and events; drafting correspondence; assigned research tasks;
other duties as necessary. A great entry-level position for a dynamic
candidate with strong interest in contemporary art sales.

BA in art history and 1-2 years experience in a contemporary art gallery
or auction house department required. Excellent interpersonal,
communications and organizational skills essential.  Strong knowledge of
contemporary art greatly preferred.

Salary at 35K plus excellent benefits.
