Hello-

Seeking information, comments and experiences regarding the use of an
agent/broker to identify
and negotiate the exchange or sale of deaccessioned objects with other
museums and private collectors.

The concept of utilizing experienced agents is good--especially for small
museums with limited resources and contacts. However careful consideration
of museum ethics, law and fiduciary responsibilities need to be duly
considered.

All feedback welcome!

Thanks!
