This has to be one of my biggest challenges. We are a
small historic house museum with too many Victorian
objects for us to manage with proper care. The market
and fashions have changed for interest in these items
by the public. Nearby aublic auction houses no longer
handle Victoriana with middling market values. I would
also be interested in hearing how similar museums are
dispersing deaccessioned objects. The original donors
are long departed and historical musuems that are in
the region have the same problem.
