and strategizing and writing session proposal for AAM meetings and seminars.
This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in research and

gain valuable learning experience from a diverse group of museum
professionals working together on national museum-related topics and
initiatives. Intern responsibilities include researching scholarships made
for AAM educational programs, researching leadership development programs
for diversity, developing and managing database, writing and editing draft
proposals, and assisting with developing and tracking diversity surveys.
Requires strong computer skills in Microsoft programs (Word, Access, Excel)
and exceptional interpersonal skills with people from diverse backgrounds.
Graduate student in Arts Administration or Museum Studies preferred. The
internship requires a minimum of 12 hours per week for three months, with
the possibility of fulfilling academic credit requirements if applicable.
