We, too, have two Liebert units. A unit that feeds our special exhibit
gallery and our crate storage. The one in crate storage did not drain
properly and damaged the vinyl tile in storage. Now, we have it propped up
on 2 by 4's and works properly. Our other unit keeps destroying the
humidifier canisters. We had the rep. out to take a look and he said the
unit is undersized for our application and wants to install a new
humidifying system and service contract for $18,500!

Dan, what Carrier system do you have for your other storage unit?

Thanks.

We have an engineer designed Liebert HVAC system in our textile storage
area, about 4 years old. I am fast approaching the conclusion that the
collection would be safer if I propped the door to the room open and let it
float with the rest of the building.

Does anyone else out there have constant maintenance issues with their
Liebert systems? The Carrier system in our other high-end storage room,
while not perfect, operates much better.

Thanks

Dan
