Following is a translation (with apologies to professional translators
in the house):

Dear Museum-L people:

Mr. Romani has asked me if anyone on Museum-L is interested in
helping develop and support a a listserv in Spanish, which I agree is a
great idea! Romani is a museologist in Mendoza, Argentina and
he and his associates (others in other museums) are interested in
discussing topics which are also relevant to museums in Latin American
countries. Isn't there already some International Museum Association
which fosters these kinds of projects? Mr. Romani says there are
about fifty small to mid-sized museums in his region who are interested
in this project. Does AAM have an international committee?
