Dear Liz,

Yes, I work in a library which owns art and artifact collections. I
am University Collections Officer at the University of Leeds in the
UK - I am based in the University Library, but work with all
'museum-type' collections throughout the University.
The University Art Gallery comes directly under the management of
the Library and has its own Keeper of Art (however the collection is
regarded as a 'University-wide' one). Special Collections in the
library also has several collections of artifacts such as ancient
jewellry, World War I artifacts, and lantern slide collections. There
is also a coin collection which is housed in the library.
Hope this helps.
Feel free to contact me if you want any further information.

Regards

Debbie Snow
