While at the grocery store today, I noticed the coin rolling machine and
thought it would be so great to have one at a museum. Well, they're already
thought of this idea...

but I thought I'd pass it along to all of you in case you were not aware of
a new, albeit small, income stream:

"Coins that Count" is a partnership between Coinstar, the non-profit
community and our supermarket partners. Simply take your jar of coins to a
participating retail location, pour them in the Coinstar machine, designate
the non-profit organization by entering the organization's unique
identification number and walk away with a tax-deductible receipt.

Coinstar is proud to work with organizations such as The American Red Cross,
The U.S. Fund for UNICEF, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and The World
Wildlife Fund. We are also proud to support our supermarket partners and the
organizations that they support. To find the non-profit partners in your
area, go to your local Coinstar machine, look for the donation option and
view a list of participating non-profit partners.
